Description

Lighter-weight active pant for incredible movement and breathability.

The FareWinds Merino FlexTec-Lite Pant was developed as a lighter weight option to our very popular Flex TecPant for the active hunter. Constructed with our exclusive 30% lighter MerinoLR FlexLite Tec Shell Fabric, this technical piece serves as a great option as a stand alone or as an outer shell to layer under as needed and is constructed to stretch and breathe with your activity, while inhibiting wind and the elements. This remarkable pant is absolutely dead quiet in any environment or activity. Features include a 270 gram jacquard knitted merino blended FlexLite Tec Shell Fabric, lined waist band with belt loops and adjustability, double layer knife panel on top right pocket, side zippered venting on legs for increased breathability, angled top zippered pockets and zippered rear pocket, and flexible leg paneling for comfort and movement. Regular Sizes: 30-46. Tall Sizes: 34-42.

This garment has an "active bowhunter" fit is built to be conservative and keep excess fabric and bulk out of the way. Articulation through paneling and sculpting on our garment design moves with your activity while keeping garment profiles discrete with less bulk. If you plan to layer underneath, or you are on the line of a size, we suggest ordering one size larger than our sizing chart suggests.

Soft / Quiet - Great Fit!

I'm 6'2, 200 lbs and these fit fantastic! Good waist, no belt needed with the side sinches, this thing is decked out in pockets for your release rangefinder grunt tube etc etc and They are extremely quiet/soft so there is no swishing or anything. Another odd thing is they feel THICK but they really aren't hot. I wore them in 70+ temps and hiked 1.5-2 miles in them and I was warm, but not uncomfortable. Highly Recommend to Friends.

    Flex Tec lite

I have some of your other mid to late season clothing and love it. Wanted something for early season. Will be using it next week on a fall bear hunt. Should be just the ticket.

If I have anything I dislike it would be the fact that it picks up burs but that is just the nature of the Berber wool.

    Poly lining

I was a little disappointed with these pants having a full polyester lining, which knocks out two of the main reasons for buying merino pants in the first place: Scent control and having something natural next to one's skin. I guess I should have read the description more closely.

Apart from that, they're great--I haven't hunted in them yet but they appear thoughtfully designed and well built. But poly next to the skin. Why???
