The MegaMerino350 Pant is a heavyweight base layer designed for cold-weather hunts. Built from a full-dull MegaMerino350 wool blend, it offers natural thermal insulation, quiet performance, and odor resistance without excess bulk. Articulated legs allow for unrestricted movement whether in the stand or on the ground.

Additional key features include YKK zippered side and rear pockets, a reinforced waistband with a heavy-duty drawstring for secure layering, and lower leg knit cuffs to reduce bulk under boots.

Regular Sizes: M–3XL. Tall Sizes: LT–2XT

This garment has an "athletic" fit and purposely designed to have a slimmer fit for layering functionality. We suggest ordering true to size as this is intended as a next to skin base layer.

Warm, Quiet, and Built for Cold Sits
The MegaMerino 350 Pant is an outstanding cold-weather base layer and quickly became a go-to for mid- to late-season hunts. The 350gsm Merino provides excellent warmth without feeling bulky, making it ideal for long, cold sits while still remaining breathable enough for slow movement or walks in. The fabric is completely silent, which is critical in close-range hunting situations.
One of the standout aspects of these pants is comfort. They are extremely comfortable against the skin and do not bind up or scratch, even during extended wear. The athletic, true-to-size fit works perfectly as a next-to-skin layer under bibs or outer pants. Articulated legs and flexible knees allow for unrestricted movement when climbing, kneeling, or sitting for long periods.
The reinforced waistband with a heavy-duty drawstring stays secure without digging in and layers well without bunching. Zippered side and rear pockets are a nice bonus for securely carrying small essentials, and the lower leg knit cuffs reduce bulk inside boots and help keep everything in place.
I paired these with the MegaMerino 350 Hoodie, and together they make an awesome cold-weather system. The warmth, comfort, and quiet performance of the two pieces complement each other perfectly for mid- to late-season hunts.

MegaMerino 350 Pants
The reason for the three stars is that, for myself, it seems like the COS design team didn’t know which direction to go with the MegaMerino 350 pants. Should it be a men’s baselayer or exterior sweat pants for women… so, the went with gender neutral. Zippered pockets, draw string and no fly opening. 🤷‍♂️
