Description

Mid to late season warmth in a jacket that stays quiet on the draw.

The FareWinds Merino FlexTec L2 Jacket is the outer layer top of the FareWinds L2 system, cut to pair with the FareWinds Merino FlexTec L2 Bib. The shell is our Merino FlexTec HighLoft, a jacquard knitted merino blend at 430 gsm (30% merino, 70% polyester), carried over 150 gsm QuietLoft Extreme insulation through the body and 100 gsm through the sleeves. Inside, a paneled AirSherpa lining at 230 gsm holds warmth across the core, the hood is sherpa lined, and the sleeves run 3X-Tricot at 130 gsm so the jacket slides over a base layer instead of dragging on it. Worn as a system the L2 carries a 20°F to 50°F range depending on how you layer, and the knitted face stays quiet against brush, bark and a bow riser.

A two way YKK front zipper opens from the top or the bottom, so you can vent on the walk in or open the hem to sit without breaking the seal at your neck, and a harness vent crosses the rear yoke. Storage sits where a seated hunter reaches for it: a zippered chest pocket, and fleece lined cuff style hand pockets that stay warm with your hands in them. Drawstrings adjust at the waist and at the hood, and two piece stretch cuffs close the wrists without a bulky closure.

Regular Sizes: M-3XL. Tall Sizes: LT-2XLT.

This garment is built conservative to keep excess fabric and bulk out of the way. Articulation through paneling and sculpting moves with your activity while keeping the garment profile discrete. We suggest ordering true to size, as the fit still accommodates mild layering underneath.

Why Code of Silence

Engineered for the Hunter Who Refuses to Compromise

Ev Tarrell spent 30 years building hunting apparel at Cabela’s. When he left, he had one goal: design gear specifically for the serious treestand bowhunter who can’t afford to make noise. Every fabric choice, every seam, every zipper pull is engineered around one question: is it silent enough?
