The FareWinds BaseSystems240 Hoodie builds on our fundamental layering foundation with the added benefit of an integrated hood and facemask for full coverage in shifting conditions. Whether worn alone in early season pursuits or as a crucial layering piece in the late season, this hoodie delivers comfort, breathability, and silent performance. Constructed from our lightweight 240gsm Merino-LR™ Base Fabric, it balances moisture control, natural insulation, and odor resistance for the active hunter. Features include paneled sleeves for unrestricted movement, a mesh-lined kangaroo pocket with venting, 2-piece stretch sleeve cuffs with thumbholes, and elastic gripper tape on the back hem to keep layers secure.

Regular Sizes: M–3XL. Tall Sizes: LT–2XLT.

This garment is an "athletic" fit and purposely designed to have a slimmer fit for layering functionality.

Great Fit / Comfortable
I'm 6'2" 200 lbs and many times the sleeves are short. This actually runs all the way to my hands, is super soft, and lightweight. Big fan of this for an early season whitetail piece. Makes drawing my bow form a saddle or a stand super quiet and simple compared to others that are bulky or too loose.

FareWinds Merino-LR Base system Hoodie
Just received my FareWinds LR hoodie like the material and camo pattern, fit is tight however, this is probably a plus, you don’t want excess material getting in your way, especially for bow hunters. I bought this primarily for warmer early season hunting with the intention of also using it as a base layer once the weather gets cold, so I’m looking forward to seeing how it works as both hunting systems!
