Crafted with our jacquard knitted Merino Fleece Tec Shell and Merino Flex Tec paneling, these pants offer exceptional durability, flexibility, and stealth. The raised and reinforced high-back keeps drafts at bay in the harshest of wind conditions - even while seated. 80gsm of QuietLoft™ insulation provides unmatched warmth without sacrificing mobility, while Windseal-TC3™ technology locks out the wind to maintain comfort in the harshest conditions. A tricot lining infused with our proprietary ScentTech lining completely destroys odor and also assists in managing moisture over long hunts. Adjustable non-slip, detachable suspenders deliver a secure fit, while full-length side leg zippers allow for easy layering and ventilation. Articulated and reinforced knees enhance mobility and durability in rugged terrain, and the DuraTrim lower cuffs with snap adjustments ensure a custom, secure fit around boots. Warm and Comfy!
River wolf pants are great. They’re warm, comfortable, and dead silent. Pockets are deep and have space to carry anything you’d need to carry. Cinch straps in the waist are nice to have. The detachable suspenders are handy and will also work on a saddle. They are flexible and not binding when you move. Would highly recommend!

Good, but need improvements
COS gear is very good for the features to price. However, these riverwolf pants need some work. The Large [34-36] feel a size too small. Worse if have a merino base layer under, way too tight. Ended up ordering a second pair in XL and they are TOO large; you swim in them if you're "in-between sizes"..... Returning the large, stuck with the XL's [for now].
- Cons:
- Sizing is NOT correct. The Fairwinds pants are perfect fit to size, these are not. If the large sizing was a true 34-36, they would be excellent!
- button design - snap button pops and is not secure; it's because its taking the load of pants & weight. Needs to be reversed. Snap button, THEN the flap with hook/loop type.... Or double hook/loop buttons.
- Suspenders --- this might be cause for sizing issue. Need loop to be on outside of pant. Feel it dig into your lower back and waist line. Keep the gate keeper design. [better than competitor].
- Stitching in areas. Loose strands.
- Needs DWR treatment or waterproof paneling
PS: COS Should introduce a "evergreen" program.. Let customers send-in their USED COS clothing toward credit on new purchases [new yearly products]. Let customer upgrade or replace with new gear each year. Work out a deal with your manufacturing partner to recycle the merino wool, berber/polyester and let them credit you [COS] toward BoM...??

Best camouflage pattern on the market! Warm, quiet and comfortable! Zippers and pockets all in right spots. The suspenders are a plus as well!
