The fair winds sets I ordered was just as I suspected.
Great quality- dead silent-great fit.
I’ve also purchased several other items along with the sets of zone 7 gear last year.
I highly recommend their products!

Comfortable right out of the package. Feel like comfy sweatpants but much more durable. Pockets are great. Openings on the side of the legs for warmer weather are superb.

They are a good early season elk and mule deer pant. When you go with 'water' resistant pants from Kuiu or Sitka they make noise. These are quiet, comfortable and made well. Except my button popped off. No I am not a fatty. It just popped off. They are made big in my opinion; however, the side adjustable clasps help ensure a nice fit. I still wear a belt with them.
I wore them in the a.m when temps were in 50s to 60s. They are not good for temps over 70ish. A little warm. We crawled through a lot of tough stickers and even cactus. Overall, they were very protective. Despite their material they did not pick up every weed seed and thorn after literally hours of crawling. I still need to try them in the midwest where I live to see how they hold up on our multitude of sticky plant seeds that latch on in early season. I am going to buy a pair for my moose guide in Alaska, he pointed out to me how loud our pants were last year and suggested we bring sweat pants and put them over our hunting pants. No need now. Just use these.
Since I did not use them in really wet conditions I can not comment on how they would do. I did bring Kuiu rain suit (best in class IMO) just in case.
I am 5 foot 9 inches and 178 lbs. The length was perfect. Umm. This review was provided without any sponsorship or bias!

I run hot for body temperature and I thought these might be a little too much on my first sit of the year with afternoon temps pushing 80 degrees. Made it in at the height of the hot part of the day and never felt the pants being hot once. The vents are a great addition to hunting gear, had them and used the heck out of them in all of my military gear.

Love the fit, the stretch and overall feel of these pants. I’ve been hoping to find a pair that met my needs like these do.
Already have become my favs on a 3 day bear hunt-Ev continues to raise the bar on his clothing. I am very excited to see what he brings to market next!
