Constructed from 250gsm of high-quality merino wool, these pants provide excellent insulation, moisture management, and odor resistance. Whether used as a base layer or stand alone piece in cooler conditions, the Merino PreCore Base Layer Pant ensures you stay comfortable for all day sits. Features include 250gsm high quality merino, drawstring waist, zippered front pockets, zippered rear pocket, and bottom leg cuffs. Regular Sizes: M-3XL. Tall Sizes: LT-2XT.

Excellent!
The merino base layer pants, combined with the base layer hoodie, are excellent! I wore them on my last hunt with COS’s outerwear. My hike into the back hills of Georgia was over a mile in 35-degree weather. This hunt was with my brother, who wasn’t wearing merino or COS clothing—just his usual hunting gear.
On the hike in, I wore only the base layer and carried my outerwear in the DoubleBack Xtreme pack. After setting up my lightweight lock-on stand and climbing sticks, I put on my outerwear, neck gaiter, and hand warmer muff. I was able to hunt all day, about 12 hours.
My brother, on the other hand, was only able to stay for 2 hours. He started getting "the shakes" from sweating during the hike and then sitting still in the 35-degree weather. I was very comfortable and had never been able to sit that long in similar conditions.
All I need now is an orange hunting vest from COS... Maybe they will add it to their list... and maybe merino socks to wear with hunting boots...

Awesome product. These Merino wool baselayer bottoms really are a quality product. I have been using these for about a year now and they are holding up very well. I love the fact that these bottoms has regular pants pockets and a back pocket. You can easily wear just these to your hunting stand before adding any outer layer. The baselayer top’s kangaroo pocket has plenty of room to secure most things that you would normally carry in. I would definitely recommend this baselayer. I will definitely purchase again in the future.
